Santa Letter Templates to Print
Santa Letter Templates.com offers Santa letters to print at home and a Nice List certificate, too. The letter has a North Pole theme, with an image of Santa’s snow-covered workshop surrounded by trees against a sky blue background. It comes with sample text that you can customize in Microsoft Word.
Their printable Santa’s Nice List certificate is also an easy-to-edit Word document. (You do need Microsoft Word to use these templates, but if you don’t own a copy, you can get a free trial download of the entire MS Office suite by going to Microsoft.com, expanding the Downloads and Trials pulldown menu and going to Office Downloads.) Note that these documents will NOT work with Microsoft Works.
The Nice List certificate has a colorful red border with snowflakes, and the certificate says, “In recognition of your good behavior this year, I, Santa, officially place [child's name here] on this year’s Santa’s Nice List.” You simply need to replace the placeholder text with your child’s name.
The certificate is signed by Santa Claus and his chief elf in charge of the Naughty and Nice lists and has a hoofprint from Rudolph. There’s also a Santa seal on it.
Both documents are priced at $4.99, but you can get a discount if you buy both together, and you can use the same letter and certificate for all the kids in your family – just edit and print. It’s certainly cheaper than buying a separate letter and Nice List certificate for each child, if you have more than one. You can also use the letter again in coming years, saving even more money.
Inexpensive Printable Santa Letters
Christmas Letter Tips.com offers five categories of printable Santa letters, from general all-purpose letters to ones written especially for children with new siblings, who just entered kindergarten, or who wrote a letter to Santa. There’s also a printable Santa letter to celebrate baby’s first Christmas.
These letters are available for single purchase in a Microsoft Word format (you’ll need Word 97 or newer) and once you buy the letter, you can use it to print as many copies as you’d like forever, as long as you’re only using them for your own personal, noncommercial use. The letters are priced at $4.99, so it’s a great bargain if you want to create several letters or if your children are young enough that you’ll be able to use the templates again in coming years.
The printable Santa letters are available in two designs, one showing a large image of Santa waving from a snowy backdrop and one with Santa and his reindeer taking off in a sleigh full of presents. They allow you to customize the usual fields, such as your child’s name, age and hometown. Because they’re created in Microsoft Word, however, you could actually add in your own customization, too.
The site also offer two free printable Santa letters in .pdf format or Word format. These offer a very basic clipart image at the bottom of the letter on a white background. The pdf version is offered for people who don’t have Word, and they can’t be personalized, but the MS Word version can be personalized. They’re a great option for anyone who can’t afford the premium personalized Santa letter, but the designs aren’t very colorful.
